| Things that excited me today:
Got an ipod interface hooked up to the in-car dvd player - now no more fumbling around getting distracted by the ipod whilst driving
At same time, installed sat nav function to the same player! Yeh...byebye to melways map on the lap And best of all.....both for cost price. Funny how things worked out. From my car airbags being stuffed up during installation 10 months ago to making a few bucks on the compensation and now bargains on additions i've been dreaming about.
as you can see, i get excited about new car gadgetries. why didnt i take a pic....

The one thing i hate about january the most is all the money-sharks hovering about above - annual bills/fees/premiums to pay off.

wow i am actually bothering to blog. a rare feeling these days. just too busy. i think i am due for another sickie at work. they aren't saved up for no reason! and whilst we r on the subject of work....i'm happy to be jumping back into private practice again 1 day a week....the rest of the weekdays stay the same. but...it shall be a start of a new direction. i aim by the middle of this year....i'll be able to afford to cut down work to 4 days a week by doing all or mostly private work. sure public is a great way to experiment things and learn under less pressure....but the pay just sucks in comparison. they should really do something about it if they wish to attract/retain more experienced dentists...not just new graduates.
alright i can feel i am drifting ZzzzzzzZzz...............

the pictures from my trip to taiwan ~ It's on my msn space. I gotta say
the 3 weeks in taiwan was a fantastic experience and it simply flew by.
Back to the mundane mon-fri work-slog again ><.
It's been such a long time since I have been back and I am glad I've
finally gone back for a visit again. I could barely remember the last
time i was there as a kid. A lot has changed and faces of the relies
have changed. Transport and getting around is really easy now.
Even if i can't quite remember the chinese, there are english
underneath everywhere. That's just Taipei of cos, which is where i am
from and where all my relies live.
Got to know a lot of new friends there too and most were all really
nice and easy to hang with. Glad at least i knew a couple of friends
from melbourne that went back around similar time as me, thx Mel and
Frank! for taking me around and intro'ing me to some more of their
friends so I wouldn't get so bored sometimes - have other ppl to hang
out with other than just relies.
Haha, i decided to get a wireless mouse and a english/chinese keyboard
from this huge computer expo that was on when i was there. So now i am
able to type in chinese as well, so no excuse now not to learn to type
some chinese too. I think in the 3 weeks i spent there, my chinese
reading has improved quite a bit (which was one of my aims there)
and i'm now finally more motivated to really learn how to speak and
better chinese.....it'd definitely be useful for my career as well over
here, with so many chinese speakers around here in melbourne
everywhere.
ok i havent really talked too much about the trip yet...but feeling cbb
anymore =P....its 1am now and feel really tired after another long week
at work.

Edit: Ok for those that don't have my msn/msn space, i've uploaded a
few of the many photos on my xanga photoblog.....i didnt realise xanga
has now made it possible to upload photos and videos on it, it used to
be that we had to upload it somewhere else and link it across...which
was so inconvenient :p
